If you are near the Clipper Mill area make sure to sign up for one of Corradetti’s Glass blowing lessons. It is about $45 and well worth the price for an hour of entertainment and your own hand made glass memory. The entire process is captured in my Flickr photo set.

D90 Videos are incredible!
D90 Cool Video Sample I made from Mike Lewis on Vimeo.
There are about 150 videos on vimeo now shot from the D90. Some people are just amatures and others pro-am’s. The great part is that some of the folks post the workflow and equipment that was used to make the vid.

Starting to actually feel bad for this woman…
Poor Sarah Palin. First she is compared to a Nazi on Family Guy and now a vampire! She might need to go back to Alaska and lay low for a while. Maybe spend some quality time with her nine kids and pack of wild huskies.
Update: I forgot to post this, more proof that it certainly appears to be raining shit on Sarah Palin.

Eli Halpin Paintings
These paintings were a gift from our friend Tom for our upcoming wedding. He’s a fellow Metropolitan, man about town, and just one of the coolest people I have ever met.
It goes to show that things like random acts of generosity / kindness still exist. I mentioned probably 6 months ago that I really liked these paintings which happened to be currently showing at Metro. Tom presented these two incredibly cool paintings to us last night at the reopening.
The artist is Eli Halpin and she has some incredible work.

Amazing journey of Homer Jay Simpson
I have seen people do pictorials with dolls or random gnomes but this is just awesome. The author put together such great scenes that almost add emotion to Homer’s face. Something about the way he shoots these scenes with fantastic bokeh and lighting really makes it incredibly eye catching.
